  • 1. How should I register for the contest?
    Register as a new user, by clicking the "Register" button in the portal. Registration is mandatory for participating in the contest.
  • 2. Do I need a team or can I register as an individual?
    You can work on the solution as an individual or as a team.However, each member of the team needs to register individually.
  • 3. Can I work on more than one problem statement?
    Yes, you can submit solutions for all three problem statements. However, you can only use one email id to register for one problem statement.
  • 4. Can I submit multiple solutions for one problem statement?
    Yes. As long as your ideas are different from each other in each entry and they meet all of the entry criteria detailed in the ‘terms and conditions’ section.
  • 5. Who will own the IP for the solution that I generate for this exercise?
    You will own the IP for your solution.In case the solution is shortlisted at the end of stage one, then an IP ownership agreement or a royalty agreement will be applicable. All details are available on the website and details will be discussed directly with the shortlisted participants post completion of stage one.
  • 6. How many winners will be selected?
    There will be a total of 3 final winners (this can be individuals or a team).We will not be picking winners for each problem statement but overall.
  • 7. Can I submit solutions using ideas or solutions that already exist and are the IP of someone else?
    No. You need to be the owner and creator of the ideas or solutions that you submit. You cannot submit existing solutions that belong to someone else for this contest.
  • 8. Some of the problem statements are very technical, will someone help me with the solution?
    Yes, for sure.There will be a team of mentors out of which, one mentor will be assigned to your team for helping you along this of contest.There will be periodic webinars conducted which will explain each problem statement in detail.
  • 9. Will I be paid to create a prototype or proof of concept?
    Yes, we will be allocating a fixed budget to you so that you can create a prototype (subjected to reasonable justification with bills annexed)
  • 10. If I am a start-up or an innovator, can I submit one of my existing products or services?
    Yes. As long as you are the owner of the IP, you can submit a solution that you have already created. However, this solution should not be under any commercial contractual obligations to any other organisations or individuals.
